Get to know Dr. Mike.
Michael grew up in southern California. From a young age, he was encouraged by his father that he "would make a great dentist," and he has! He completed his DDS degree in 1988 from USC in Los Angeles and moved to Redding with wife Julie to begin a life in rural northern California. Four sons, 4 daughter-in-laws, 4 grandkids, and 35+ years later, Mike and Julie happily call Redding their home for life!
Many of the staff have been with Dr. Mike for years. His patients are like family. He treasures watching them grow, caring for their dental health into the next generation. Dr. Mike was honored to have his oldest son Jonathon (Dr. Jon) and wife Janelle join the practice in 2019. Together working side by side, their joy is to serve the community they both love so dearly . Son David and wife Sarah returned to Redding after completing college degrees. David is an Edward Jones Advisor and Sarah retired from teaching to care for their daughters Riley and Reagan. Son Adam (see his bio below) graduated from OHSU in Portland and joined the dental practice in 2024. Son Philip and his wife Gabi reside in Tucson, AZ, with their Doberman Tiana, where Philip works as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Dr. Mike’s wife Julie has recently handed over the business management of the practices to Jon’s wife Janelle, to allow her time to teach Bible Fellowship Study classes and spend time with their grandchildren. Truly it is a family owned and operated 2-office dental practice!

Get to know Dr. Jon.

Dr. Jon feels fortunate to be practicing in the home town where he grew up with the family he loves. Jon attended Redding Christian School from Kindergarten through high school, playing about every sport offered. He then attended Simpson University, on a soccer scholarship, majoring in Biology. He went on to Louisville Kentucky for dental school, eventually marrying his junior high sweetheart, Janelle Gaddy. Upon graduation from the U of L in 2019, Jon and Janelle returned to Redding to join the Dinius family dental practice and to begin their family. Mila was born in July 2020, giving Dr. Mike and Julie their first grandchild! In February 2022 they became a family of four with their baby boy Logan. When not treating patients, Jon and Janelle enjoy playing tennis, running, working in their garden or exercising their Labrador Cash. Dr. Jon feels blessed to be back home, raising his family and investing in the community near and dear to his heart.
Get to know Dr. Adam.
Dr. Adam grew up in Redding, the third Dinius son, attending Redding Christian School from Pre-K through high school graduation. He went on to major in Biology at Simpson University, joining his brothers on the men’s soccer team. He attended dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR, graduating in June of 2024. He married his beautiful long-term girlfriend Ashley Beaver that spring, sold his home in Portland and moved to Redding to join his father Mike and brother Jon at our Eastside dental practice. What a joy to have father and two sons practicing dentistry and doing life together!
When Adam and Ashley have free time (away from the dental practice and Ashley’s studies to become an RN), they are hiking, biking, running, fishing or out at a friend’s ranch with their calf Poppy and German Shepherd Wren. Their dream is to have their own property one day with lots of animals and room to garden, ride horses and entertain all the kids in the Dinius-Beaver clan! What a blessing to have Adam and Ashley back home in the Northstate with both families!

Our dedicated team IS the reason our patients come back time and time again. The majority of our staff have been with Dr. Mike for many years. Katie M. has worked at our office since graduating as a new hygienist 20 years ago! Linda, the most experienced of our hygiene ladies, has diligently served our patient families for well over 20 years! Janessa grew up as a little girl in our practice and now with children of her own, treats many of our youngest patients. Office manager Tabitha began working for us before she could even vote! Now 20+ years and 3 children later, she runs the very busy front office, with the help of her sharp and caring front office team. And then there's Pam, Mike’s number one assistant for over 25 years, who came out of retirement to train the next generation of assistants in our back office. Behind the scenes, assuring the sterilization of instruments and set up of operatories is our devoted Evelyn, who has trained many of our younger crew in the back office. Dr. Mike and Dr. Jon could NOT do what they do so proficiently and professionally without their amazing team!

Tabitha
Tabitha is the smiling beautiful face that runs our front office. As Office Manager, she makes it her mission to know each patient by name. She is a wife, a mother of 3, a grandmother to Waylon and Hudson, and a true farm girl raising goats, pigs and chickens on their ranch. She has dedicated the last 20 years to building “her second home” on Larkspur Lane.
Ally
Ally grew up in Orange County, but in now a Shingletown girl. She invests in and serves her new community as a volunteer for the Shingletown Fire Dept. Ally loves the outdoors! When she’s not serving our Eastside patients, she is hiking, camping, snowboarding. Her goal is to continue her career in dentistry either as a Hygienist or Extended Function Dental Assistant. We are blessed to have Ally on our team!
Jennifer
Jenn is the cheerful, fun front office gal greeting those who enter our Westside office. We love the bigger-than-life personality she brings! We are also grateful for her 30+ years in dental, including time as an RDA. She calls herself a “spoiled Grammy” to granddaughter Ellie. When not at the office, she enjoys hiking, time at the lake and traveling, her dog Chase by her side.
Hayley
We are so grateful to have Hayley BACK on our team working at our Eastside office! After becoming an excellent assistant working in our office since 2021, Hayley moved to Shingletown to work as a dental assistant there. She moved back to Redding end 2024, with her husband Kaleb and precious son Wyatt, and we could not be more thrilled! Hayley loves hiking, fishing, snowboarding and most of all, being a mama. We welcome her back!
Katie, RDH
Katie M. came to work for us fresh out of hygiene school, and we all loved her from Day 1! It’s been 20 plus years and she is still dearly loved by patients and colleagues. When not at work, Katie can be found mountain biking with her son, supporting her daughter in cheer or quilting with friends.
April M.
April has returned to our front office after a 7 year hiatus to raise her sons. We are so grateful to have her back! April’s warm smile greets patients as they enter our office and she fills in as an assistant as needed. Married for 16 plus years, her hobbies include photography and time at their cabin with her “men” and dog Beau.
Janessa, RDH
Janessa grew up in our practice as a little girl learning to brush from Dr. Mike! As part of our hygiene team, she now teaches her patients how to brush and care for their teeth. She is a devoted wife and mother to a beautiful daughter and son. We love being a part of Janessa’s work family and seeing her kiddos grow and thrive.
April B, RDH
April B. comes to us with over 20 years as an assistant and 16 years as a hygienist. She graces our staff and patients with her gentle peaceful spirit. She has a passion for dental missions, prison fellowship, leading worship and playing the guitar. When not at work, you can often find April with her dog and her 2 young nieces.
Lacy
Lacy was born and raised in Redding and began as a very young girl in our practice. She is training to become an assistant and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Lacy is outgoing, loves the outdoors and her goal is to become a hygienist one day.
Hannah, RDH
Hannah attended Redding Christian School with the Dinius boys. She joined our office in 2018 to gain experience for hygiene school and developed into a talented dental assistant. She filled in at our office when hygiene school allowed and is now back as a full time hygienist. Hannah enjoys fishing and family time with her husband, brothers and sister, and dogs Piper and Nellie.
Kayla
Kayla is a dental veteran with over 14 years in the field before she joined our team. She is a Redding native, raised in the northstate, and has two sons. When she is not working behind the scenes in our business office, she enjoys traveling, entertaining, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Emma
Darling Emma is family… Jon and Janelle’s cousin. We couldn’t be happier that she is joining our dental staff family too! Recently graduated from Uprep as a track and basketball star, she will continue to play sports in college as she pursues a career. Emma loves hanging out with friends and travelling with her very active family. Welcome on team, Emma!
Cristal
Cristal, our newest front office staff, comes to us from the bank industry. She is a great complement to our warm front office team. Born and raised in Redding, married with a son and a daughter, she enjoys camping, crafting and collecting exotic plants.
Janelle
Janelle Gaddy (now Dinius) has been in our life for many years. First as a darling & very competitive junior high and club soccer player; then years later, she reconnected with Jon Dinius at Simpson University as they both were Red Hawks soccer players. They married in 2016 and Janelle joined our front office in 2019 when they moved back to Redding. She now works from home as she cares for her daughter Mila and son Logan.
Beth
Beth is the warm smile and sweet voice who greets our patients as they step into the office or call by phone. With a ton of dental and medical experience (40 years!) she feels blessed to now work with her granddaughter, Caitlin, an RDH at Dinius West. She is a wife and mother of two, who helps out with her grandchildren and spends time away from the office cooking, gardening, traveling (she loves the ocean!) and caring for their 4 dogs.
Hayley, RDH
Hayley is a Cottonwood girl, who began in dentistry as an assistant 40 years ago! She continued her education to become a hygienist in 1992, married her husband in 1996 adding 3 kids to her plate. She now splits her time between the office, 4 grandchildren, gardening and home projects. We are so grateful to have Hayley caring for our patients’ dental hygiene!
Yolanda
Both doctors feel blessed (and spoiled!) to have Yolanda with her extended function dental assistant license on our West side team! Her favorite part of her over 31 years in dentistry, is helping people have confidence in their smiles. When not at the practice, Yolanda enjoys empty-nest time with her husband Greg, their dog Trudy, and their 6 grown children.
Julie
Julie, Dr. Mike’s wife (and Dr. Jon’s mom), helps run the office from behind the scenes. For 30 years, she has juggled their busy home life with the demands at the office, their social, professional and church commitments and all of Dr. Mike’s other pursuits! Julie & Mike are blessed to have such an amazing office staff who truly are part of their extended family.
Ashley
Ashley is a local girl who grew up in Redding doing all things outdoors… fishing, camping, enjoying lake time. When not at work, she loves all things art, traveling and visiting the ocean. Ashley has worked in the dental field for almost 8 years and currently is part of the front office team at the West side/Eureka Way practice.
Tammy
Tammy is our front office manager and “anchor” with 27+ years of experience in the dental field including 10+ years at the West side practice. As mom of 2, active grandma of 5, and forever student, she stays super busy both in and out of the office. With any spare time, you’ll find her on a bike or hiking trail enjoying the great outdoors!
Maliya
Maliya, one of the newest members of our Westside team, expresses appreciation for the opportunity to train to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She has a deep passion for art, loves jewelry making and sewing, exploring her creative side. She is the oldest of 2 siblings, has lived in Redding since she was 10 years old and LOVES her 5 cats! Welcome, Maliya!
Makayla
Meet Makayla! She’s our beautiful and friendly sterile tech at the Eureka Way office. Makayla is an honor grad from UPrep HS, on her way to pursue a biochemistry degree and a career in dentistry. She loves the outdoors, archery, fishing, hunting and traveling and states that her younger brother is her best friend. We are honored to be a part of Makayla’s dental journey!
Ashley, RDH
We welcome Ashley to our hygiene team on the Westside! She has been a hygienist for over 10 years, but began her dental career many years ago completing prerequisites for hygiene school with Dr. Mike at the Eastside office. Ashley is an active wife and mom! When not seeing patients, she volunteers in her kids’ classrooms and helps coach their teams. She stays active running and biking. So nice to have Ashley back!
Blake
Redding born and raised, Blake has been in the dental field for 5 years and serves as a registered dental assistant at the West side office. Her kind spirit and warm smile put patients as ease and comforts those in her care. She loves being a wife and mother. She says being a mom to Connor and Scarlett is pretty much her main identity and favorite pastime.
